Just an update 8.17.2009
Summer's pulling to a close already? That's fcked up. I'm not sure how much you enjoy reading walls of text, but here's another one.

I'm 16, Hooray! It may not make much sense for me to announce this three days after my birthday, but since it's my blog, I'll take the privelage to say, rant, or cry about anything I want. I'm not sure whether I've matured in anyway (I'll leave that for you to decide), but I know my patience has grown much thinner with everyone That's that. Any other thoughts about being sixteen? Yeah, I can't wait to speed.

About onflow...
Our expected debut ended in complete disaster. From this, I learned that unless my team is truly motivated, it's impossible to get anything done. And no, I'm not blaming anything on anyone 'cause to be honest, I wasn't motivated to work with anyone either. I guess I'm just better at working alone. I haven't given up on onflow though. I'll develop it myself and I'll see it from there.

Ack, I better get moving. I needa put together a slide show for my mom, clean my bookbag for tomorrow, and finish up the two books I was assigned for summer reading.

Today for the first time of my life, I watched someone chop a whole tree down (three actually). I accompanied my mom at our new house for half the day. There, we oversaw the arborists work on the trees and the garbage dude dump out our remaining pieces of junk. Suprisingly, my mother had to hire someone to dump out all the crap that was left in our house by the previous owner. Who would have thought that you had to pay to dump... well, garbage? As always, I'm learning something new everyday.
I'd really like to write more tonight, but tomorrow I'd be going out of state. Since I need to wake up by 5, I'll wish you all good night. Perhaps in return, you could wish me a fun and safe trip to Pennsylvania. (First Bushkill, then Poconos)

If I were given any award in the near future, it'll probably be the "most terrible blogger" award. My blog gets updated once every half a month, and when it does get updated, it's filled with my incoherent rambling. I've taken no stride to develop my site (aside from the occasional new layouts, which aren't that pleasing to the eye either) and... well, who would read such a blog? Apparently, you would.

Anyway, half the summer (note: the last time I updated was the beginning of vacation) has passed and I feel as if I had nothing accomplished. Well, that's a lie. I have maybe half the things I had in mind prior to vacation realized.

What I did- (Positives first)
1. Spend more time with family- aside from the three hours I spend in SAT prep on weekdays, the several hours I spend on the computer, and the couple of hours I spend biking and exercising, I devote all of my time to my family. Whether it's family gatherings, or just enjoying each others company (I hesitate to write this cause often it isn't true), I'm bound to be with my family.

2. Web page development- Yes, even though it's hard to believe, and people like Emily may tease me the long hours I spend coding a layout which she could probably finish in minutes, I feel that my understanding of HTML has gotten a weebit better. I even got better at photoshop.

3. SAT Prep- Hey! I'm doing what I gotta' do.

What I didn't do- (dundundun)
1. Get a Job - Well... SYEP failed me again this year (wtf, it's minimum wage too). More surprisingly, none of the providers I offered to volunteer for accepted me. The majority of them told me either their positions were full or that their program was discontinued for the summer and would resume at a later date. Someone out there is prone to be in need of help, in need of another pair of hands, so why the hell is it so difficult for me to even volunteer somehwere? Sigh...

2. Practice the Clarinet - Yeah right, I didn't even touch it, and I refuse to until I move.

3. Read more- I'm only two-fifths done with my first book.

4. Get bigger, buffer - Hrm, a look in the mirror shows me that I'm roughly the same size as I was two months ago.

5. Learn Chinese - ....I tried calligraphy, but that doesn't count.

Well, I'm going to use what's left of my summer to transform as many of the "Did Nots" into "Dids" as I possibly could. *

There's no problem that can't be solved, right Proffessor?

The Third Day of Vacation 7.02.2009
You must be thinking, "Nice andy, what a descriptive title you have". My answer: It's 12:38 in the morning, I'm trying my best. Summer has arrived, and besides the temperature, it's not too difficult to sense the return of our annual visitor. From the caroling birds to the crisp morning air, nothing could seem to create a more lively atmosphere.

Next comes the problem I'm faced with each summer, "How should I spend it?" Well, before anything, I'm already enrolled in a SAT course. The english teacher is fantastic, or at least for now. My math teacher, however, could be a bit better. Although I appreciate his attitude and the facts he brings us from the most random subjects imaginable, he could be a bit more prepared. Teachers, please, don't teach a subject you're unsure about. You could risk not making the couple hundred dollars, but you shouldn't risk your students' educations.

My other plans... BUY A BIKE! Learn to play the piano, learn to cook more recipes, learn to swim, improve on the clarinet, photoshop, and coding, be a better role model for my cousins (this includes staying away from violent shooting games and putting my clothes in the hamper instead of in the corner). I'm tired. My brain stopped functioning. A fly's harassing me as I type. Goodnight.
